General information
Summer has now truly arrived at our oasis. Daytime temperatures exceed 30 - 32 degrees and night’s stay 20 - 25 degrees. The pool area is inviting with its rippling water, and the peaceful environment makes the area extra pleasant.
Now here in the end of June, many people have arrived and the pool is full of adults and children.
Since we have had much warmer than normal May and June, cockroaches have been thriving and have made their way into our homes. We have now fumigated, once again, all the paths and drains to avoid this from occurring again.
The pool area
The pool is fantastic right now after the renovation and replacement of filtration material. This is the level of quality we will maintain, and we ask that you always shower properly before swimming. When you shower, please remember to turn off the faucets so that water does not stand and drip or run.
The jacuzzi is now open between 08:00 - 22:00 and, thanks to the nice weather, is around 35 - 37 degrees. We would like to remind all owners and renters that the jacuzzi is only for adults from the age of 15. We will be closing the jacuzzi, from 6 – 9 of July, for 4 days for corona measures, i.e. what surrounds the jacuzzi.
New signs also inform that:
- Babies must use special swim diapers in the pool
We have removed four bushes that were not doing so well and some tall banana plants. We want it to be both cozy and beautiful around the jacuzzi, so they should be a little lower.
The flowerbed under the standing tree has now been provided with slightly larger white stones and a number of beautiful petunias that now adorn and brighten up our pool area.
We will install two benches inside the pool area that we can sit on and look out over our pool area and can also use to put our clothes on when we swim.
We have ordered four new parasols which were supposed to be delivered last week. We hope they will be delivered soon. The parasols will provide some shade on the lawn.
Improvements
In 6th of July we will start painting our facades and we will start with block 1, facing the street, and continue block by block until all blocks are finished. The first week the facades will be cleaned and then a protective layer will be applied followed by two layers of paint. We expect the entire work to take about 2 months for all blocks.
We ask all owners to prepare for this extensive work so that it goes as smoothly as possible, which means that no items may be left on the stairs, balconies, awnings, etc. We will update you continuously as the work progresses, so you have a chance to take your actions.
What is not included this year is cleaning the stair lintels with joints and the gray fence.
Summer greetings from the board
We look forward to seeing you again soon and hope that everyone will have a truly relaxing and wonderful summer.
