Mazarrón is located south of the Murcia community, bordering the municipalities of Cartagena and Fuente Alamo to the east, with those of Alhama de Murcia and Totana to the north, the west of Lorca and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. It has an area of ​​318.7 sq km and has a population that currently exceeds thirty thousand inhabitants.
