Elche, or Elx, is a town located in the comarca of Baix Vinalopó, Spain. According to the 2014 census, Elche has a population of some 228,647 inhabitants, ranking as the third most populated city in Valencia.

Cartagena is a port city and naval base in the Murcia region of southeast Spain. Founded by the Carthaginians around 220 B.C., the city boomed during the Roman period. Among its many Roman ruins are a 1st-century B.C. theater and Casa de la Fortuna, a villa with murals and mosaics. The Muralla Púnica (Punic Wall) interpretation center houses the remains of a 3rd-century B.C. defensive wall.
Mazarrón is located south of the Murcia community, bordering the municipalities of Cartagena and Fuente Alamo to the east, with those of Alhama de Murcia and Totana to the north, the west of Lorca and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. It has an area of 318.7 sq km and has a population that currently exceeds thirty thousand inhabitants.
